Investment Officer I – Inflation Sensitive Strategies

The Association of Asian American Investment Managers is in search of a skilled professional to join the Inflation Sensitive team as an Investment Officer I.

This specialized unit aims to enhance the diversification of the overall investment portfolio by exploring strategies and asset types that safeguard against inflation, yield superior returns, and ensure consistent cash flows. The current portfolio comprises a mix of public investments, including U.S. TIPS and Commodities, alongside private investments in sectors such as Agriculture, Timberland, and Infrastructure. The team is also evaluating additional strategies to further optimize the portfolio. The Inflation Sensitive Portfolio represents a distinctive hybrid asset class, investing in a well-rounded array of strategies and securities through both internal and external management approaches. The objective is to mitigate overall portfolio volatility while effectively capturing long-term inflation trends.

Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Investment Officer I will assist in the administration and oversight of the Inflation Sensitive portfolio operations. This role involves conducting and synthesizing research and portfolio data to support informed investment decisions. The incumbent will perform tasks that require a significant level of autonomy and sound judgment.
