Part Time Assistant Case Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Case Manager Assistant to join our team at The GEO Group, Inc. This role will provide case management support for a Day Reporting Center, checking in participants and assisting Behavior Change Managers with case coordination, case management, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Check-in all participants entering the facility and complete drug screens as assigned.
- Perform breath analysis on each participant and provide written or computerized results.
- Complete initial Starting Point process with participants, including paperwork, database input, and assignment of groups and services.
- Provide general office administration duties, including answering phones and providing customer service.
- Assist Behavior Change Managers with case coordination, communication with agencies, and report preparation.
- Manage participant caseloads using the Principles of Effective Intervention (What Works) and conduct risk/need assessments.
- Facilitate evidence-based CBT programs and life skills programs to participants in groups.
- Develop and monitor participant progress relative to their CMP.
- Perform data entry, file preparation, and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required; Baccalaureate Degree in Social Services preferred.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.
- College coursework in Human Services or business discipline preferred.
- Minimum of six (6) months experience in Human Services field with direct participant services preferred.
- Good customer service skills, effective communication, and organizational skills.
- Solid computer skills and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
