The role of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) at Amenity Health, Inc. involves working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech therapy services while maintaining professionalism, dependability, and compliance with departmental policies and procedures. This includes assisting in providing speech and language therapy treatments based on the plan of care developed by a licensed SLP, maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress, and collaborating with stakeholders regarding therapy progress and necessary adjustments to the plan of care. Additionally, the SLPA will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in speech therapy through ongoing continuing education.
