Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapy Support Professional to join our team in East Houston, TX. As a member of our educational support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students develop their communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Conducting Therapy Sessions: Work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver individual and group therapy sessions, following established treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with Educational Staff: Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and other support staff to ensure seamless communication and effective implementation of therapy goals.
  • Document Student Progress: Accurately document and track student progress, providing valuable insights for future treatment planning.
  • Create Engaging Learning Environments: Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to thrive.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or Related Field: Hold a minimum of an associate's degree in speech-language pathology assisting or a related field.
  • Texas SLPA Licensure: Possess Texas SLPA licensure or be eligible for licensure.
  • Prior Experience with Children: Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting, is highly desirable.
