Job Summary

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to our nation's veterans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care services to veterans, including preventive, chronic, and urgent care
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health care problems
  • Perform routine check-ups and prescribe medication and treatments
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
