Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care

Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist will prepare and position patients for nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. This includes preparing patients for imaging procedures, such as PET and SPECT scans, and ensuring that they are properly positioned and secured.

Radiopharmaceuticals

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, administering, and monitoring radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring proper dosage and handling in accordance with regulatory guidelines. This includes preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures, as well as monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.

Imaging Procedures

Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET, SPECT, and other specialized scans, following established protocols and safety standards. This includes operating and maintaining sophisticated imaging equipment, as well as troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.

Data Analysis

The successful candidate will analyze imaging results, prepare detailed reports, and collaborate with physicians to interpret findings and determine the best course of action. This includes analyzing imaging data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Compliance

Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist will adhere to all safety and regulatory standards, including radiation safety protocols, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. This includes following established protocols for handling and administering radiopharmaceuticals, as well as monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.

Patient Education

The successful candidate will educate patients and their families about procedures, answering any questions and providing reassurance to alleviate concerns. This includes providing patients with information about imaging procedures, as well as answering any questions they may have.

QualificationsCertification

Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N) is required for this position. The successful candidate will have current certification and be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in this area.

Education

An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field is required for this position. The successful candidate will have a strong educational background in nuclear medicine technology and be able to apply their knowledge and skills in this area.

Experience

Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will have experience working in a hospital setting and be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in this area.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a genuine desire to help others and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
