Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform nuclear medicine procedures to produce accurate images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families, and healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • Perform specific procedures and/or teaching duties as required.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
  • ARRT - Radiography certification.
  • NMT-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire.
Preferred Experience

0-2 years of basic clinical and practical experience in a similar environment.

Skills and Knowledge
  • General knowledge of diagnostic nuclear medicine principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform routine nuclear medicine examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures.
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a rotating weekend schedule. The pay range is $58.70 to $79.25 per hour, and the salary range may vary based on location.
