Job Title: Director of Electrical Engineering

Job Post Solutions is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Electrical Engineering to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our Electrical Engineering Discipline and driving strategic business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement design approaches that focus on client expectations and physical and cultural context.
  • Provide design direction and support to ensure consistent, high-quality design firm-wide.
  • Establish a design process that responds to client expectations and aligns with strategic business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with practice leadership to establish budgetary frameworks and investment strategies for growing the practice.
  • Participate in creating goals and strategies for the practice to be presented to the Executive Committee.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 15+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering Design.
  • Completion of PE Exam is required. Licensed in state of Tennessee is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Electrical Engineering Discipline with emphasis on understanding client expectations.
  • Experience as a lead designer on a variety of project scales and complexities.
  • Effective graphic, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn.
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic.
  • Understanding of basic electrical, spatial, and building code concepts.
  • Proficient in current design software including AutoCAD and Revit.
