RIG Consulting Inc. is seeking a qualified Transportation Construction Inspector to join our team in the District 11 area. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations.
- Review inspection drawings and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Document daily activities and maintain project files.
- Travel to various locations to conduct inspections and gather data.
- Read, write, and speak English clearly and effectively.
- Operate electronic devices and software systems to input and retrieve information.
- Work safely in a fast-paced environment with moving traffic and equipment.
- React promptly to hazard warning devices and use required protective equipment.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing.
- Work extended hours and be on call beyond normal business hours.
- Minimum of two years of experience in transportation construction or a related field.
- GED or high school diploma required; degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
- NECEPT bituminous and concrete certification.
- ACI certification.
- NICET Level 2 or higher in Highway Construction certification.
- CDS NextGen certification.
- KAHUA certification.
