Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Vascular Access department. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective intravascular therapy, promoting best practice, and optimizing patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient-centered care, prioritizing individual needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve universal goals of safe, effective, and appropriate infusion therapy and vascular access.
  • Perform independent nursing interventions related to infusion therapy and vascular access, utilizing clinical reasoning, nursing judgment, and critical decision-making skills.
  • Respond to vascular access needs, including intraosseous insertions during rapid responses and codes.
  • Support and partner with staff nurses to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current Massachusetts RN License required.
  • AD with 3-5 years experience or BSN degree in nursing required.
  • Knowledge of IV Therapy Nursing.
  • IV Therapy Nursing experience preferred.
  • Dedication to both bedside teaching and formal hospital education programs.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to develop and support unit-based quality improvement/research projects.
