Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at The Glades at Championsgate. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals that exceed our residents' expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the culinary team in the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with our nutrition team to ensure that our meals meet the highest standards of nutrition and quality.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and staff supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to source fresh and high-quality ingredients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings.

Requirements

  • Culinary training through an accredited program or four years' experience in an equivalent position of responsibility.
  • ServSafe certification or ability to complete certification within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Catering experience and computer literacy.
  • Able to work all shifts and days of the week.
