Executive Chef

The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations at Aramark. This role requires a strong leader who can train and lead kitchen personnel, supervise and coordinate culinary activities, and ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and lead kitchen personnel to ensure high-quality food production.
- Supervise and coordinate all culinary activities to meet customer expectations.
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food to maintain inventory levels.
- Select and develop recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
- Establish presentation techniques and quality standards, and plan and price menus to meet customer demands.
- Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance, and ensure proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
- Oversee special catering events and provide culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques as needed.
Qualifications:
- Requires at least 2-3 years of experience in a related position.
- Requires at least 2-3 years of post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree.
- Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.
- Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems.
- Requires verbal, reading, and written communication skills.
