Job Title: Communications Representative

At Talkishco, we are seeking a skilled Communications Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for managing and enhancing the company's public image, handling internal and external communications, and ensuring effective messaging across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create and execute communication plans to promote the company's image and objectives.
  • Write and Distribute Press Releases: Craft and disseminate press releases, newsletters, and other promotional materials to showcase the company's achievements and initiatives.
  • Manage Media Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, handling interviews, and responding to press requests.
  • Coordinate Public Relations Campaigns: Plan and execute public relations campaigns and events to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
  • Monitor Media Coverage: Analyze and report on media coverage and public opinion to inform communication strategies.
  • Prepare Communication Materials: Develop and disseminate communication materials for internal announcements and corporate events.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Teams: Work closely with marketing and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
  • Crisis Communication: Handle crisis communication and manage sensitive information to maintain the company's reputation.
  • Develop Communication Policies: Assist in the development of communication policies and procedures to ensure effective internal and external communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a communications role or similar position.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in media relations and public speaking, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and ability to work under pressure and handle confidential information.
  • Software and Social Media: Familiarity with communication software and social media platforms.
