We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
- Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information, counting and measuring medications, and labeling and packaging prescriptions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures for inventory management and pharmacy operations.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving shipments of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
