Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis Center team on a per diem basis. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals with acute and chronic kidney disease or apheresis needs in the ambulatory and inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic family-centered care to patients within the continuum of care, utilizing time and resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with the Nurse Manager of the Dialysis Center to ensure SCOPE and ANA standards are upheld.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, prioritizing patient needs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality/safety initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse licensure required and maintained thereafter.
  • American Heart Association, or American Red Cross, Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS certification required upon hire and maintained thereafter.
  • A minimum of ASN/ADN required upon hire, BSN preferred. If ASN/ADN, must acquire BSN within 3 years of hire.
