Overview

As a key member of our Systems Engineering Organization, you will play a critical role in leading a team of specialists who provide technical requirements management and mission integration expertise in support of NASA missions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct cross-program integration activities to identify best practices and implement them across all Human Spaceflight programs.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, and strategic plans by monitoring and evaluating programmatic, operational, and cost effectiveness.
  • Track and report actual costs to allocated organizational budget and provide recommendations on how to decrease cost and increase performance output.
  • Lead project management and leadership for projects within the team, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to meet the needs of the Programs while increasing efficiency with day-to-day processes.
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Management from an accredited Engineering school, college or university, plus seven (7) or more years of professional experience in management, operations or systems integration.
  • Progressive leadership roles & responsibilities demonstrated through experience base.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and target clear and concise message to the appropriate audience.
  • Ability to resolve problems, interpret policies, and demonstrate solid knowledge of contract requirements, processes, and procedures to support both technical and administrative contract operation.
  • Analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills.
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Systems Integration Engineering in the areas including but not limited to: management of technical requirements, mission integration.
Essential Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
