Job Summary:

Bedrock - an NES Fircroft Company is seeking a highly skilled Cost Controller - Project Financial Management to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of project costs, ensuring compliance with corporate and company cost management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and track the preparation of project funding documents, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Review and analyze contractor-prepared cost performance and progress reports using Earned Value methods, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Develop total project cost, performance, and forecast reports for review by project team, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Review project invoices/charges for coding and contract compliance prior to approval, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop monthly cash flow report and variance analyses, providing critical insights for project decision-making.
  • Ensure WBS elements are closed at project/phase completion, and coordinate with Supply Chain to close all Service and Purchase Orders, ensuring seamless project closure.
  • Provide project actual cost and forecast data for summary reporting at the portfolio and business unit level, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure that any cost-related change to the Project Budget is documented and approved as provided in the Change Management Procedure, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and expedite the preparation and approval of project change management documents, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Ensure all approved and pending changes are incorporated into the current project plan/forecast, ensuring project alignment and goal achievement.
  • Communicate scope, schedule, or cost risk/opportunity variances and recommend alternatives in a timely manner, ensuring proactive project management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Engineering, or Technical discipline preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with oil and gas facilities.
  • Experience with SAP and Omega PIMS preferred.
