Lincolnshire, Kentucky, United States LG Electronics Full time

At LG Electronics, we're seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to join our B2B Information Display Technical Sales organization. As a key member of our team, you'll provide comprehensive pre-sales support and design services for audio-visual (AV) projects.

This role involves collaborating with sales teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to create effective AV solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards. You'll be instrumental in project estimation, system design, and ensuring the proposed solutions align with client needs and budget requirements.

As a Solutions Architect, you'll provide expert design support during the pre-sales phase by assisting with the creation of system designs, conducting peer reviews of the Bill of Materials (BOM), and refining the scope of work to ensure clarity and accuracy.

You'll develop detailed AV system designs, including schematics, equipment specifications, and integration plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. You'll also work closely with the solutions enablement and project management teams to estimate project costs, considering all technical requirements, labor, and material costs to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.

Additionally, you'll prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including system design packages, user manuals, and installation guides, to support project implementation and client handover. You'll collaborate with solution enablement managers, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery, from design through to installation and commissioning.

To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in a technical subject, a minimum of 6 years of technology industry experience, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in solution design in a B2B technology industry. You'll also need excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of project/solution specifications, and proficiency with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUP.

This is a field/home office based role, and you'll be required to travel 50% throughout the U.S. (occasional international). Fluency in English is a must.

At LG Electronics, we're committed to providing equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by state, federal, or local law.
