Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of surgeons and nursing staff during procedures
  • Assist with surgical counts and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in debriefing and quality improvement practices to ensure quality patient care
  • Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military training equivalency
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • Licensure and certification in Surgical Technology (BLS, CSA, TS-C, CST, or GRNDF)
