About the Role

Vitalant is seeking a skilled Blood Distribution Specialist to manage the inventory of blood and blood products, ensuring timely and accurate shipments to local hospitals and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process online and telephone orders from hospital vendors for blood and blood products.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order fulfillment, estimated arrival times, product availability, and other questions or concerns.
  • Inspect and verify inventory received shipments of blood and blood products.
  • Provide exceptional attention to detail and maintain accurate records of transactions and processes associated fees.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily goals and contribute to a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid in-state driver's license.
  • Six months of customer service experience required.
  • Prior healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Able to lift 40lbs.
