Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Shift Supervisor to join our team at Kohler. As a Night Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of production personnel and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of production personnel to achieve production targets and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
    • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and company objectives.
    • Monitor and control production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
    • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
  • Quality Assurance and Control
    • Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards.
    • Implement and maintain quality control processes to prevent defects and errors.
    • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with team members, department managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to management on team performance and production metrics.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, engineering, operations management).
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical and Environmental Demands
    • Ability to stand for long periods and move around the production floor.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment.
    • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
