Job Summary

We're seeking a Small Format Team Member to join our team in our smallest format stores. As a Small Format Team Member, you'll be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for our guests, providing exceptional service, and ensuring that our stores are well-stocked and visually appealing. You'll work efficiently and as a team to deliver for our guests, and you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow with our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming experience for our guests by authentically greeting them and observing their needs.
  • Engage with guests in a genuine way, asking questions to better understand their specific needs and providing solutions to their problems.
  • Be knowledgeable about our tools, products, and services to solve issues for our guests and improve their experience.
  • Thank guests in a genuine way and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target.
  • Help guests as you complete your workload with minimal disruption.
  • Work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is full, zoned, and in stock for our guests.
  • Push and stock product to the sales floor, execute adjacency changes, and conduct weekly price change workload.
  • Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy, and support the execution of major transitions and ISM.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of our stores, including emptying garbage cans and attending to restroom cleanliness.
Requirements
  • A welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • The ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow a multi-step process.
  • The capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
  • Able to accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
  • Climb up and down ladders, scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely.
  • Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with reliable and prompt attendance necessary.
