Job Summary

21c Museum Hotels is seeking a skilled Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring timely and accurate food delivery to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver food to patrons in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Take orders and deliver food to hotel guests for room service.
  • Assist servers with preparation of tables, service stations, and coffee stations.
  • Communicate between kitchen and servers regarding the status of each table and delivery of food.
  • Assist with setting up the expo station and kitchen pass.
  • Help maintain the flow of service and report back to the chef on the status of tables and fire times.
Requirements
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to speak, read, and understand English.
  • Clean and professional appearance.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm for all things 21c.
  • Must pass a background check.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to carry a full service tray comfortably.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
