About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations and assisting in the daily routines of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in performing ultrasound examinations
  • Maintain departmental equipment and follow OEM guidelines
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions procedures
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement and complete required annual training and competencies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited US program and registered with ARDMS or registry eligible
  • Current BLS certification
  • Fluency in scanning all aspects of ultrasound, including OB/GYN, breast, venous, arterial, abdomen, pelvis, soft tissue, and interventional procedures
  • Ability to work holidays, take call, and respond within 30 minutes
  • Minimum 1 year of US experience in a variety of US exams (OB, venous, arterial, abdomen, breast, interventional procedures)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in a variety of US exams
