Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

At Rochester Regional Health, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community. As an Ultrasound Imaging Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
  • Assist in the daily routines of the ultrasound department, ensuring efficient and effective operation.
  • Collaborate with RNs and physicians to perform interventional procedures and coordinate the daily schedule.
  • Comply with professional and ethical standards of the American Association of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited US program and registered with ARDMS or registry eligible.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Fluency in scanning all aspects of ultrasound, including OB/GYN, breast, venous, arterial, abdomen, pelvis, soft tissue, and TV/interventional procedures.
  • Ability to work holidays per hospital schedule and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of US experience in a variety of US exams (OB, venous, arterial, abdomen, breast, interventional procedures).
  • 2-3 years of experience in a variety of US exams.
