About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including OB/GYN, breast, venous, arterial, abdomen, pelvis, soft tissue, and interventional procedures.
  • Assist in the daily routines of the ultrasound department, including maintaining departmental equipment and following OEM guidelines.
  • Collaborate with RNs and physicians to perform interventional procedures and coordinate the daily schedule.
  • Comply with professional and ethical standards of the American Association of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited US program and registered with ARDMS or registry eligible.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Fluency in scanning all aspects of ultrasound, including OB/GYN, breast, venous, arterial, abdomen, pelvis, soft tissue, and interventional procedures.
  • Ability to work holidays per hospital schedule and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of US experience in a variety of US exams (OB, venous, arterial, abdomen, breast, interventional procedures).
