Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Interim Healthcare. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home patient visits and implement treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Instruct and assist patients in exercises, muscle re-education, and prosthetic training
  • Monitor patient progress and report to the supervising provider
  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and strategies
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state associated with this position
  • Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
  • Valid state-issued driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
  • One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Physical Therapist (PT) in a home health or similar setting
