Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Columbus, OH on a part-time basis.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will implement individualized occupational therapy interventions and support plans for students in a school setting, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' therapeutic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized occupational therapy interventions and support plans for students in a school setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' therapeutic goals.
  • Conduct assessments and provide progress reports as needed.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of classroom-based strategies to enhance students' participation and performance.
  • Ensure adherence to established therapy plans and maintain accurate documentation.
Requirements:
  • Valid COTA certification and state licensure in Ohio.
  • Experience working with K-8th grade students is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Reliable and organized with a passion for helping children reach their full potential.
