We are seeking a qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team at New Story Schools. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy services to our students with autism or emotional/behavioral disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized IEP goals and objectives to promote fine motor, perceptual motor, self-care, sensory integrative skills, and play activities.
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy activities to meet student needs and encourage progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, school districts, and community partners to design and implement appropriate services.
  • Provide information to parents/guardians and school districts through quarterly progress reports.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Knowledge of child development and common behavioral disorders exhibited by children and adolescents.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
