To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards, demonstrate quick and diligent work habits, and maintain focus on assigned tasks for extended periods. A successful Culinary Preparation Specialist will follow instructions meticulously and thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
  • Establishing and sanitizing workstations.
  • Adhering to prep lists provided by kitchen management.
  • Measuring ingredients and seasonings, and preparing cooking essentials such as stocks.
  • Ensuring proper storage and accessibility of all food items.
  • Supporting the kitchen team in food preparation and addressing any culinary tasks that arise.
  • Monitoring food and cooling room temperatures.
  • Evaluating ingredients received from suppliers.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment.
Position Requirements
  • Previous experience in a culinary preparation role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods, with the capacity to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Proficient knife skills.
  • ServSafe food handling certification is advantageous.
  • Capability to follow recipes accurately.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
