The main objective of this role is to ensure adherence to various customer and internal quality system standards by conducting thorough and systematic audits of processes, documentation, and products.

Key Responsibilities (additional tasks may be assigned)

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of production documentation to ensure compliance with established business protocols.
  • Offer quality-related support regarding procedures, practices, and requirements to various stakeholders including Customers, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Planning, which encompasses administrative duties in quality management systems.
  • Authorize and release products in alignment with quality control standards.
  • Participate in and assist with internal and external audits, as well as maintain relevant databases.
  • Review and audit established processing practices.

Educational Qualifications

  • A two-year degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of experience in areas such as:
    • Quality systems and functional expertise,
    • Decision-making related to customer specifications,
    • Experience in melting, forging, or conversion manufacturing.
    • Proven success in a manufacturing setting.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) necessary for daily operations, with a willingness to learn additional software.
  • Understanding of company products, objectives, and operational processes.
  • Familiarity with metals melting techniques such as vacuum induction melting, electroslag remelting, and vacuum arc remelting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, including Five Whys and Risk Assessment, is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle, Maximo, or similar systems is beneficial.

Skills in:

  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities.

Ability to:

  • Communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with production and technical teams.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
  • Utilize broad technical knowledge and skills to complete complex project assignments.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes.
