Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, acute treatment, and chronic illness management for patients of all ages.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and support educational initiatives.
  • Contribute to a work culture that is responsive to the diverse needs of staff and clients, aligning with our mission.
  • Adhere to established clinical standards and evidence-based practices.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and follow established protocols within the assigned facility.
  • Consult with physician partners and refer patients with complex health issues to specialized care as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Health Records (EHR) and ensure timely documentation as per clinical guidelines.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality in accordance with Health Center policies, Joint Commission standards, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and collaborative projects aimed at quality improvement.
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant students as agreed with the Clinical Director.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings and weekends, as approved by the Clinical Director.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or related setting.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License in Massachusetts.
  • Ability to provide care to patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics.
  • Compliance with the Health Center's vaccination requirements, including the latest COVID-19 booster and annual flu vaccine.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Annual salary range of $105,000-$115,000 for full-time positions.
  • Eligibility for the HRSA Loan Repayment Program.
  • Health insurance plans available from the first day of employment, with the employer covering 80% of premiums.

Patient Demographics:
  • Care for neonates (under 1 month).
