Inpatient Psychiatry Advanced Practice Nurse

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team at MetroWest (VHM) Physician Services, Inc, the Inpatient Psychiatry Advanced Practice Nurse will provide direct patient care services, augmenting a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order lab studies and professional consultations, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with psychiatric and medical conditions.
  • Augment a physician's ability to provide medical services to patients, including ordering lab studies and professional consultations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's prepared Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
  • RNP License.
  • BLS.
