South Middlesex Opportu is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing and experience working with Spanish-speaking clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychopharmacology, clinical consultation, and on-call services within the outpatient clinic.
- Develop and implement psychoeducation programs to educate clients on medication management and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for clients.
- Ensure compliance with program/department, agency, and/or funder requirements, as well as SMOC policies & procedures.
Requirements:
- Masters in Psychiatric Nursing required.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- RN, with current state license.
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician's Assistant.
Working Conditions:
This is a hybrid office and remote position. As part of the responsibilities of this position, the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse will have direct or incidental contact with clients served by SMOC in various programs funded or administered through the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
