Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the work of Certified Nursing Assistants and Certified Medication Aides
  • Direct emergency response when necessary
  • Assist physicians on the unit as requested
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation
  • Dispense medications as prescribed
Requirements:
  • Licensure to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Ability to read and write effectively in English
  • Two years of nursing experience in an acute care, long-term care, or assisted living setting preferred
  • CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner) designation required within the first year of employment
  • Maintain current CPR certification
