As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Riverside Health System, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, or Nursing Supervisor, and be responsible for the emotional, physical comfort, and safety of our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the development, maintenance, or modification of nursing plans of care
Administer medications and treatments accurately and according to provider orders
Allow resident choices within limits of capability, considering safety and dignity issues, and follow facility policies and procedures
Assign duties to non-professional staff, such as CNAs, according to education, training, policy, and resident need
Engage team members for optimal performance and address performance as needed
Requirements:
LPN diploma from an accredited program required for new grads within 90 days of program completion
CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire
FA certification within 30 days of hire
LPN license in the state of VA or compact required or board eligible
