Job Summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to perform various tasks within our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift.
  • Operational Excellence: Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments.
  • Supporting Operational Processes: Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all CJ Logistics America policies, customer requirements, and federal/state/local regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
  • Quality Control: Inspect each pallet and/or case for proper quantities, items, brands, and lot codes.
  • Communication: Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management. Identify process improvements.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Security: Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
  • Training and Development: Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all guidelines.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Forklift Operation: Knowledge of and ability to operate a Stand-up forklift.
  • Physical Demands: Meet medium level physical exertion requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • RF System Operation: Ability to learn how to operate RF systems in a logistics environment.
  • Basic Math and Reading Skills: Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Instruction Following: Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.
