Job Summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Encino Hospital Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians. Your emphasis will be on assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care, taking into account the age and population-specific needs of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and document care, considering age and population-specific needs.
  • May be assigned as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor, responsible for the section or department during their shift.
Qualifications
  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • 2 years' experience as a RCP preferred.
  • ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
  • NRP certificate preferred.
  • PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
