We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Radiography Assistant to join our team at SOCOTEC. As a key member of our Non-Destructive Testing team, you will be responsible for assisting Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment and conducting tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods of inspection.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and utilize Nondestructive Test equipment.
- Assist Radiographers in the calibration of NDT equipment.
- Assist Radiographers to conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
- Record results of inspections.
- Assist performing NDT procedures, carrying equipment and other operations.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles.
