Position Summary: ECI is seeking a Senior Transmission Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the conceptualization, design, and execution of both new and upgraded transmission lines. The selected candidate will manage material procurement and provide construction support until project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design phases of transmission line projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and execution, while monitoring progress and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Manage a team of engineers, designers, and support staff, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Coordinate with various discipline groups including Substation Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Environmental Planning to ensure project success.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients and project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
  • Provide mentorship and training to project team members, enhancing their technical skills and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of project engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities, with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Additional Information: The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of transmission engineering principles and relevant codes and standards. The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines is essential. Occasional travel may be required, and candidates must not require sponsorship for employment visa status.
