About the Role:
Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Framingham, Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity to provide patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. They will develop and implement effective treatment plans, educate patients and families, and direct and supervise support personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and education on self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques.
- Computer proficiency, preferably with Microsoft Office applications.
