Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, working under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director. This role requires strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to create personalized care plans for each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the total nursing care of assigned patients on an intermittent visiting basis.
- Develop comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, including OASIS assessments at appropriate points.
- Supervise and delegate non-professional staff to ensure optimum patient care.
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations.
- Complete all required clinical documentation consistently per RHS standards.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Virginia.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Staff Nurse experience (preferred).
- Home Care experience (preferred).
- CPR/BLS Certification within 30 days.
- Driver's License.
