Job Summary

Williamsburg Landing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in caring for residents in Assisted Living and the Health & Rehabilitation Center. As an LPN, you will oversee the work of Certified Nursing Assistants, direct emergency response when necessary, assist physicians on the unit as requested, ensure documentation is timely and accurate, and dispense medications as prescribed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in Assisted Living and the Health & Rehabilitation Center
  • Oversee the work of Certified Nursing Assistants and direct emergency response when necessary
  • Assist physicians on the unit as requested and ensure documentation is timely and accurate
  • Dispense medications as prescribed and maintain current CPR certification

Requirements

  • Licensure to practice nursing in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Ability to read and write effectively in English
  • Two (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care, long-term care, or assisted living setting preferred
  • CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner) designation required within the first year of employment
