As an Electrical Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the electrical construction activities of multiple smaller projects or segments of a larger initiative.

Your role will involve collaboration with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, with the goal of surpassing client expectations while adhering to company policies and industry standards. Key responsibilities include ensuring prompt payment for services rendered and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Making informed decisions within your area of expertise is essential, and your duties may encompass business development, proposal responses, cost estimation, change order management, project scheduling, staffing, invoicing, and ensuring timely payments.

The Supervisor is accountable for the project's success from its inception through to final payment.

In This Role You Will:
Engage in bidding processes, assist with cost estimation, and review project specifications and drawings.
Ensure clarity in contracts, maintain consistent project scope, and ensure compliance with all terms. Manage indemnification and insurance matters.
Facilitate contract execution, ensure delivery to field teams and billing departments, and secure necessary authorizations.
Obtain required insurance certificates, permits, and bonds. Prepare and monitor proposed budgets and expenditures.
Coordinate pre-project meetings, develop timelines, and engage various stakeholders.
Manage project delays, address customer issues, and oversee manpower allocation.
Request and approve personnel assignments, establish timelines, and negotiate contracts.
Monitor engineering, procurement, and construction progress against established schedules and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain open communication with field teams, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Collaborate with labor management, optimize the use of prefabrication resources, and coordinate with engineering teams.
Ensure timely documentation, approve invoices, and maintain project profitability.
Adhere to company policies, prepare project budgets and schedules, and ensure team members are well-informed.
Monitor and control project budgets, facilitate information flow, and take necessary actions.
Negotiate contract modifications, secure customer approvals, and coordinate insurance certifications.
Prepare Operations & Maintenance manuals, report issues promptly, and ensure timely project payments.
Manage material procurement, oversee change orders, and draft subcontracts using standard company terms and conditions.
Prepare accurate Job Progress Assessments, review subcontractor invoices, and ensure project closure and payment.

Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Construction Supervisor
Basic understanding of the National Electric Code
Familiarity with BIM|VCD, scheduling software, and estimation tools
Proficient in construction management software
Comprehensive understanding of construction processes and project management principles
Relevant bachelor's degree along with two to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Proficient in applying basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and manage various abstract and concrete variables.

To succeed in this role, an individual should possess knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in sales and engineering is advantageous.
