We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in bioinformatics, data engineering, and computational biology. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with data processing frameworks and tools like Apache Spark and Hadoop.
In this role, you will work on analyzing and interpreting complex biological data, developing novel algorithms and methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.
The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, and strong communication skills to present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in bioinformatics, data engineering, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of bioinformatics databases, tools, and resources (e.g., NCBI, Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser).
