The Sanitation Specialist is tasked with maintaining cleanliness and operational efficiency within the facility.

Position Details

Medline Industries, LP stands as the premier national supplier of medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical products catering to various healthcare settings. In light of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Specialist for the evening shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure daily cleanliness of the warehouse, utilizing industrial cleaning equipment such as sweepers and scrubbers to maintain dust-free floors.
  • Collect and dispose of waste from the facility into designated containers, ensuring trash receptacles are cleaned as necessary.
  • Perform detailed cleaning of shelving units, walls, staircases, doors, and other surfaces.
  • Manage the compaction of excess cardboard using the baler.
  • Assist with box assembly and dock operations as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as needed.
  • Willingness to work overtime and support various functions within the facility.
  • Capable of working independently in a diverse environment.
  • Physical demands include the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly, along with various physical activities such as standing, walking, and bending.
