Overview:
o The individual will oversee preparation tasks related to the pastry section at Cypress Social.
o Reports directly to the Pastry Sous Chef, Executive Pastry Chef, Executive Chef, General Manager, and Assistant General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
o Uphold dessert quality, standards, and consistency.
o Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the workstation and surrounding areas in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
o Manage kitchen organization, product rotation, and routine upkeep.
o Communicate any necessary repairs for kitchen tools and appliances.
o Adhere to dessert standards established by the Pastry Sous Chef, Executive Pastry Chef, and Executive Chef.
o Availability for flexible working hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced culinary environment.
Daily Duties:
o Ensure the pastry department operates at peak efficiency.
o Perform any necessary role to maintain service standards.
o Follow recipes and procedures as directed by the Pastry Sous Chef and Executive Pastry Chef.
o Prepare pastry orders for catered events and accommodate special requests.
o Maintain records related to deliveries, dessert transfers, and production metrics.
