Job SummaryWe are seeking a bright and motivated individual to join our organization as an Account Manager in Boston, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing revenues from our existing district energy customers. This is a full-time exempt position that reports to the Regional VP Business Development.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow a book of existing district energy customer accounts
- Develop a deep understanding of Vicinity Energy's products and services to provide superior customer service and execute value-based selling
- Maintain full accountability for assigned accounts, retaining and managing contract renewals
- Maintain and nurture deep executive relationships with accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
- Monitor client behavior to identify potential attrition risks and proactively address any issues
- Maximize revenues from assigned accounts by identifying, pursuing, and winning opportunities to broaden Vicinity's relationships
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in account management/business development
- Relevant industry experience in the Energy & Utilities/HVAC space is preferred
- Strong customer/sales orientation and focus
- High level of sales/business/business development acumen
