About the Role

Ochsner Health System is seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team. As a Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic procedures and interpreting ultrasound images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and instruct patients on procedures
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including echocardiograms and Doppler imaging
  • Document and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare work areas and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in cardiac ultrasound preferred
  • Active RDCS registry through ARDMS Credentialing Agency or RCS registry through CCI Credentialing Agency required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
