Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our client's team in the Midland, Texas area. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining an ISO 14001/45001 certified management system and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of EHS professionals to maintain a robust EHS management system.
  • Primary EHS contact for Midland, Texas area operations, including a service center and field operations.
  • Identify and mitigate common safety, health, and environmental hazards in the organization's operations.
  • Develop and implement EHS training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Audit EHS programs to ensure compliance with company standards, government regulations, and local conditions.
  • Monitor performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance: Knowledge of EHS policies and ability to implement them to ensure safe products and services.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems.
  • Collaborating: Ability to work with various individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Interpersonal Relationships: Ability to work with various individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree in EHS or a closely related field.
  • Current or previous oil and gas experience or background.
  • 14001/45001 certification.
